Based in Abuja with regional coverage responsibilities, this researcher supports ELDR Intelligence's Africa coverage — tracking political developments, regulatory shifts, and institutional dynamics across West and Central Africa for institutional clients.

  • Track political, regulatory, and economic developments across West and Central Africa
  • Produce country intelligence briefs and political risk assessments
  • Support sovereign capital research covering government finance, budget dynamics, and policy trajectories
  • Maintain monitoring coverage of key regulatory bodies, central banks, and legislative developments
  • Contribute to ELDR Signal and ELDR Institute Africa Research Center publications
  • 2–5 years in research, journalism, policy analysis, or intelligence analysis
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian and West African political economy
  • Demonstrated analytical writing capability
  • Undergraduate degree in political science, international relations, economics, or related field
  • Existing professional networks across West African government or financial institutions
  • French language proficiency for Francophone Africa coverage
  • Prior experience at a policy institution, media organization, or development agency
  • Publication credit on ELDR Intelligence Africa coverage
  • Abuja base with regional exposure
