ELDR Intelligence's energy coverage supports clients across energy infrastructure, refining, and sovereign resource sectors in Africa and internationally. This role monitors energy sector developments, produces intelligence briefs, and contributes to ELDR's energy and capital market research.

  • Monitor energy sector developments across Africa, the Middle East, and international oil and gas markets
  • Produce energy intelligence briefs covering feedstock dynamics, refinery operations, and energy infrastructure investment
  • Track regulatory and policy developments affecting African energy sectors
  • Support advisory clients with energy market analysis and regulatory environment assessments
  • Contribute to ELDR Signal energy sector coverage and ELDR Institute research
  • 2–5 years in energy research, commodities analysis, or energy policy
  • Working knowledge of African energy markets — particularly West African oil and gas
  • Strong analytical writing with ability to produce structured intelligence briefs
  • Undergraduate degree in energy, economics, international relations, or related field
  • Experience in downstream oil and gas, refining operations, or energy infrastructure
  • Understanding of African energy regulatory environments
  • Familiarity with energy data platforms and commodity market databases
  • London or Abuja base with multi-market exposure
  • Publication credit on ELDR Energy intelligence products
  • Competitive compensation for market
